Awards and achievements. The program has been approved by external experts (the Guild of Experts in the Sphere of Professional Education and the National Center for Public Accreditation) and has been recognized as the best program as part of the annual project Best Educational Programs of innovative Russia.
Teaching staff. The program is delivered by the teaching staff of four university departments, including four Doctors of Sciences, Professors, 14 Candidates of Sciences, Associate Professors, five Candidates of Sciences, Assistants, five teachers from among current heads of specialized medical organizations in the Samara Region. The teaching staff’s scientific capacity and considerable working experience in practical healthcare ensure high professional competence of future Master’s graduates. The university develops academic staff mobility. Researchers from Russia and Israel are engaged in the teaching process.
Admission requirements. Specialists who have a degree in any field of study can apply for this program. The documents required for admission to the university are accepted offline and online. Entrance exams are conducted in the form of interview. Education. Teachers use active and interactive teaching methods such as visualization lectures, conference lectures, business role-playing games (educational games), round table discussions, brainstorming, distance education technologies (video lectures). To hone their practical skills, students use 2D simulators and VR technologies.
Research. The faculty has a student scientific circle that conducts research and implements projects in the field ofinnovative technologies in nursing practice; development, improvement and scientific substantiation of lean production mechanisms, quality and security control of medical care; quality of life in patients with different pathologies.
Scholarships and grants. Master students who show good academic performance, do research, take an active part in professional skills competitions and the university’s social life, follow the moral and ethic principles of group behavior are awarded federal and regional scholarships and grants. The university’s motivation policy also provides for personal scholarships for the most gifted and inquisitive students. Competitive advantages. Students undertake their internships at the medical university’s clinics, multidisciplinary preventive medicine organizations with modern automated workplaces, unique medical equipment, innovative technologies.
