Preparatory Department

TSU offers foreign citizens courses in Russian as a foreign language to prepare them for admission to degree programs.

Study areas

• Medicine and Biology (enrollment with the opportunity to study at Chita State Medical Academy)

Duration: 6-12 months

Tuition fees 42,500 – 85,000 RUB

The Preparatory Department offers:

• a flexible schedule and lower tuition fees compared with other universities
• intensive and game-based learning
• learning the Russian language through exploring Russian culture
• excellent results of the final test following the course completion

The Preparatory Department students are accommodated in the dormitory.

Accommodation fee 5,500 RUB per month

After completing the course, students can take a test in Russian as a foreign language. If the students pass the test successfully, they can obtain a state-recognized certificate confirming a certain level of Russian language proficiency and then apply for Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD programs at TSU.

Adaptation

The university staff members:

• provide comfortable study and living conditions

Starting from the first year of study, international students take an active part in the university’s social, mass cultural and research life.
