Awards and achievements of the educational program. The program successfully underwent state accreditation in the enlarged Chemical Engineering group and professional-public accreditation in 2014 (Certificate No.ПOA-0351). It was recognized as the best program within the project Best Educational Programs of Innovative Russia 2016. In2015 a recertification audit of the quality management system for compliance with ISO 9001:2008 (ANO “NQA Russia”) was performed. Alumni’s competence was found to comply with the criteria and professional standards.

Teaching staff. High-level training is provided by the experienced teaching staff. The employees of the department successfully participate in grant contests of different levels.

University partners within the educational program. The university cooperates with Kazan National Research Technological University, Tomsk State University and enterprises such as the Gazprom Pererabotka gas processing company, the SIBUR gas processing and petrochemical company, the Antipinsky Refinery, the RN-Yuganskneftegaz oil and gas company, the Invest-Silikat-Stroyservis construction materials company, Tyumen Battery Plant, the Tyumen Vodokanal water supply company, Tyumen House Building Company.

Students’ and alumni’s achievements. Bachelor students do active research, they are regular prize winners of all-Russian (the first place in the contest of graduation theses “Saint Petersburg Mining University” in 2016) and regional contests of student works. The best students get personal scholarships (SIBUR Holding, LUKOIL, government scholarships). Over the last three years 37 students have participated in conferences and contests. They include 10 winners and 15 prize winners: the Forum of Youth Ecological Movements and Social Organizations of Russia (Khanty-Mansiysk, 2014); the first place in the international research conference “New technologies for the Oil and Gas Region” (2017); the third place in the V.I. Muravlenko Regional Contest of Student Scientific Works; the first place in the 15th International conference “TRACEE 2016” on contemporary problems of architecture, construction, energy efficiency and ecology.

Facilities and resources. The Industrial University of Tyumen has all required facilities and resources providing a comfortable learning environment for students.

Opportunities for students. Internships are undertaken at actual production facilities of the partner enterprises. The university annually hosts job fairs and the Days of companies whose representatives familiarize students with manufacturing sites giving them exhaustive information about their employment prospects.
