Accreditation. State accreditation.
Awards and achievements. Since 2014 this educational program has been recognized as one of the best by the Guild of Experts in the Sphere of Professional Education and the National Center for Public Accreditation as part of the project Best Educational Programs of Innovative Russia.
Teaching staff. The program is delivered by the teaching staff of 20 university departments, including nine Doctors of Sciences, Professors, 23 Candidates of Sciences, Associate Professors, 20 Candidates of Sciences, Assistants, 15 teachers from among current heads of specialized medical organizations in the Samara Region. The teaching staff’s scientific capacity and considerable working experience in practical healthcare ensure high professional competence of future specialists. The university develops academic staff mobility. Researchers from Russia and Israel are engaged in the teaching process.
Facilities and resources. Classrooms with a multimedia projection complex, two specialized university laboratories, a research laboratory, a self-access center, three specialized libraries, two specialized gyms, and a playground.
Education. Teachers use active and interactive teaching methods such as visualization lectures, conference lectures, business role-playing games (educational games), round table discussions, brainstorming, distance education technologies (video lectures). To hone their practical skills, students use 2D simulators and VR technologies.
Research. The faculty has a student scientific circle that conducts research and implements projects inthe field ofinnovative technologies innursingpractice; development, improvement and scientific substantiation of lean production mechanisms, quality and security control of medical care; quality of life in patients with different pathologies.
Competitive advantages. Students undertake their internships at the medical university’s clinics, multidisciplinary preventive medicine organizations with modern automated workplaces, unique medical equipment, innovative technologies. The university develops the system of continuing medical and pharmaceutical education, delivers continuing professional education programs.
Employers and employment. Bachelor graduates carry out their professional activity at medical organizations across Russia. The employers are leading medical organizations of all kinds.
