Accreditation. State accreditation. Professional–public accreditation (the Medical League of Russia) in 2021.
Awards and achievements. Every year students are awarded the Russian President and Russian Government scholarships in the priority areas of modernization and technological development of the Russian economy. The program was evaluated as part of external and internal audits and recognized as compliant with the education quality standards of ISO 9001:2015.
Teaching staff. The academic disciplines of the program are taught by 15 Doctors of Sciences, ten Professors, 65 Candidates of Sciences.
Facilities and resources. Students are trained using the Training Pharmacy of the Faculty of Pharmacy, the online training clinic, the Medicinal Plants Museum of the Central Black Earth Region, the university’s botanical garden using the interactive communication system in the electronic information and educational environment (Moodle and Webinar platforms).
Education. Every year the learning process involves more than 30 practical training facilities, including the Voronezh Center for Quality Assurance and Certification of Medicinal Products, the State Enterprise of the Voronezh Region “Voronezhfarmatsiya,” the Lipetskfarmatsiya regional state unitary enterprise, Health City Company Group, Family Pharmacy, the Vita pharmaceutical company, Materia Medica Holding, Rafarma, Servier, and others. Students visited the full-cycle pharmaceutical production facility SERVIER RUS in Moscow.
Research. Monitoring of antimicrobial resistance and rational antimicrobial therapy for urinary tract infections. Identification of adverse reactions to some drug products and their pharmacological correction. Study of pharmacological effects of known and new biologically active substances with antioxidant properties. Development of compositions and pharmaceutical manufacturing technology using natural raw materials.
Competitive advantages. The key partners are educational organizations of the East-European Research and Education Medical Cluster, the regional office of the National Pharmaceutical Chamber, pharmaceutical organizations, Protec Company Group.
Employers and employment. Students undertake internships and work placements at the Rafarma pharmaceutical production facility. The faculty graduates are employed by pharmacy organizations, health and pharmaceutical service authorities, the regional Center for Quality Assurance and Certification of Medicinal Products, major Russian and foreign pharmaceutical companies, pharmaceutical enterprises manufacturing medicinal products, scientific and educational organizations.
