Achievements. The educational program has been recognized many times as one of the best educational programs of innovative Russia. In 2022, the program obtained a professional-public accreditation certificate.
Teaching staff. Training is provided by 22 subdivisions and over 150 teachers, 70% of whom have academic degrees of Doctors and Candidates of Sciences. The degree-granting departments are the Department of Pharmaceutical Management and Economics, the Department of Dosage Form Technology, the Department of Pharmacology and Clinical Pharmacology, the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, the Department of Pharmacognosy.
Facilities and resources. The faculty has a GMP training center, a pharmacology research center, a pharmaceutical quality control center, a medicinal plant nursery, a resource sharing center. Education. Classes are conducted offline using digital learning technologies in the electronic information and educational environment.
Strategic partners. The university cooperates with pharmacies and pharmacy chains such as Saint Petersburg Pharmacies, Nevis, Rigla,Ercapharm, Lenpharm, Planet of Health, pharmacies of medical institutions, the analytical laboratory in the Leningrad Region, pharmaceutical companies such as Geropharm, Biocad, Solopharm, Polysan, Vertex, Microgen, and others. Research is conducted in the field of drug development; pharmaceutical, chemical and toxicological and phytochemical analysis methods; search for new medicines; study and analysis of pharmacoeconomic aspects of drug provision; pediatric and hospital pharmacy.
Competitive advantages. The faculty is the personnel training leader in Russia. Graduates are in high demand in the job market. The university has a well-developed system of continuing pharmaceutical education and delivers CPE programs.
Employers and employment. Among graduates are pharmaceutical industry leaders at different levels, heads of pharmacy chains, pharmaceutical organizations and warehouses, drug promotion specialists, pharmacy technicians, pharmacy analysts, staff of analytical, forensic and chemical, phytochemical laboratories, quality control specialists at pharmaceutical enterprises.
