North-Caucasus Federal University also offers a Bachelor's program and a Master's program in Special (Defectological) Education.
Teaching staff. The educational program is implemented by the Department of Pedagogy and Educational Technologies. The teaching staff include three Doctors of Sciences, 12 Candidates of Sciences, the employers’ representatives.
All the teachers annually increase the level of their professional competence taking various educational programs.

Students’ and alumni’s achievements. Students annually participate in university, interuniversity, and all-Russian scientific events, interregional academic forums. A high level of professional competence allows students to participate in and win the university contest “Teacher of the Year” and various all-Russian scholarship and grant contests.
