Achievements and awards. Since 2014 this program has been listed among Best Educational Programs of Innovative Russia. The university is ranked among "The Best Universities of Russia" and is listed on the National Register "Leading Educational Institutions of Russia."

Teaching staff. Over 90% of teachers have postgraduate academic degrees and titles. All faculty members are actively involved in project and research activities with the support of grants from the President of the Russian Federation, the Russian Foundation for Basic Research (RFBR), the Department for Humanities and Social Studies of the RFBR, and other research foundations. Among the teachers are laureates of minor Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS) awards for young scientists including the Makary Prize, RAS contests, science and innovation awards and winners and laureates of international and all-Russian music contests.

Facilities and resources. The university has all of the necessary resources for efficient delivery of the educational program and student recreational activities.

Research. Professional and personal training of teachers in the context of the modernisation of education; the development of professional special needs education in the Moscow Region (a project of the Moscow Region Ministry of Education); ridge model of the region's need for teachers; WorldSkills Russia; information technologies for foreign language teaching; and regional music study projects.

Education. Teachers use context and project based learning techniques, flipped classroom, technologies for perception development, speech culture development in the context of cross-cultural communication, singing culture development, and children’s music-making. Teachers from foreign universities deliver lectures, hold seminars and give master classes. International students also undertake teaching internships.

Strategic partners. Research institutions of the RAS and the RAE, top universities of Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, etc., and various universities in Belarus, Hungary, Germany, China and France.

International projects and programs. The university cooperates with foreign partner universities under international academic exchange agreements and implements the international GIP grant project. Students win grants for free education abroad from DAAD, Erasmus+ and Stipendium Hungaricum.

Assistance and support for foreign students and teachers is provided by the assistant to the Rector for International Affairs and the head of the Russian Language Testing Center for International Visitors.
