Several leading researchers of the Institute of Geography, the RussianAcademy of Sciences and the Center of Social Demography and Economic Sociology of the Institute of Socio-Political Research, the RussianAcademy of Sciences are also engaged in the educational process.

University partners within the educational program. The Institute of Geography of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Institute for Economic Forcasting of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Institute of Socio-Political Research of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Southern Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Department of Geography of Lomonosov Moscow State University.

Students' and alumni's achievements. Students regularly participate in all-Russian and international conferences and exhibitions including international research conference of students and young scientists (LomonosovMoscowStateUniversity, Moscow), the Big Geographical Festival (Saint Petersburg), the North-Caucasus Youth Forum «Mashuk» and others.

The graduates are employed in various tourism organizations. They can also enroll for the following Master's Programs: Territorial planning and organization of tourist and recreational activities, Geographic Education.

Facilities and resources. The NCFU has all the facilities and resources required to offer its students proper learning opportunities: learning and science laboratories (Laboratory of Environmental Biochemistry, Laboratory of the GeologicalMuseum), lecture halls equipped with video projectors, language laboratories, computer classes.

Opportunities for students. The educational program involves activity of several task forces: «Problems of tourism and recreation»«Problems of socioeconomic development of the North-Caucasus Federal District and cross-border regions»«Interethnic relations, transformation of displacement of ethnic groups and population processes»«Problems of population shift and lifestyle»«GIS in human geography!' Since 2011, students have annually participated in the international archeological and geographical expedition «Kyzyl-Kuragino» (the TyvaRepublic), the largest youth project held by the Russian Geographical Society.
