Awards and achievements of the educational program. Official state accreditation for six years by the National Accreditation Agency of the Russian Federation (2015), professional-public accreditation in the sphere of science and technologies carried out by the Association of Engineering Education of Russia (for five years).
North-Caucasus Federal University also offers a Bachelor's program in Operation of Transport and Technological Machines and Complexes.
Teaching staff. Three Doctors of Sciences and 17 Candidates of Sciences, heads and employees of specialized organizations.
University partners within the educational program. The Stavropol Dairy Plant; the Energomera Concern; the SBSV-Klyuchavto Stavropol and the RusAvto car dealers; the Stavropolskoye 2 motor transport enterprise; the Service Oil auto service center; the Telecom-S Internet service provider, the Gazprom Transgaz Stavropol gas transportation company, the Stavropol Municipal Unitary Trolleybus Enterprise. These organizations provide opportunities for Masters’ educational internship and work placement and for subsequent alumni employment.
Students’ and alumni’s achievements. Students take an active part in various events held by NCFU and other Russian universities and organizations. They are the UMNIK contest winners, the Vladimir Potanin Award winners, winners of the Russian Federation President and Government Awards, participants and winners of various contests, and holders of enhanced stipends.
Facilities and resources. Eight dormitories for non-resident students, a sports complex, that consists of three gyms. Students can choose between various specialized sports clubs. The facilities and resources of the university include required laboratory equipment, computer classes, an electronic library system.
Opportunities for students. Students undertake their internship at specialized enterprises, which closely cooperate with the degree-granting Department of Operation of Motor Vehicles. Each student gets an individual assignment for internship. Master students, who have a good command of foreign languages, can participate in academic mobility programs to pursue their studies at other top Russian or foreign universities.
Employment prospects. Chief engineer, master mechanic, transport engineer, transportation maintenance foreman, manager, mechanic, vehicle transport column mechanic, garage mechanic, transportation maintenance operator, engineer for diagnosing technical condition of motor vehicles, road building machines and mechanisms, head of a motor transport operation department.
