Awards and achievements of the educational program. Students taking Bachelor’s courses in Technology of Transport Processes participate in the All-Russian contest of graduation theses.
Teaching staff. Most teachers have academic degrees and titles and basic education relevant to the program being taught. Experts working for air service providers such as the Northern Capital Gateway Company, the
University partners within the educational program: the State Hermitage, Basel Aero Company Group, the TransVanino Corporation LTD, the Special Materials Corp. Research and Production Association.
Alumni are successfully employed by air service providers, airports and airlines.
Students’ and alumni’s achievements. Facilities and resources. Providing teaching and practical training, the university utilizes facilities and resources of its partner enterprises. Students have access to the university internet.
Opportunities for students. Students have an opportunity to undertake an internship with possible employment at transport organizations such as: the Department of Transportation and Communications of the free-trade zone of the CIS Executive Committee; LUKOIL-Trans, the largest bulk cargo rail transportation operator in Russia, the LUKOIL-Trans—Expedition Cargo Company, the Lakor Transport Company, TransTEK, the Severstaltrans Transport Company, the Rosatrans Freight Forwarding Firm, the Trans-NAO Freight Forwarding Company, the Medpolimer JSC, the RosTEKVolga Customs and Production Complex, the Tuapse Commercial Sea Port, the Vladivostok AVIA Airline and others.
Employment prospects. The department trains personnel for state and municipal organizations of transport systems management, transport operations supervision bodies, regional passenger and cargo transportation management companies, firms, associations of international carriers as well as commercial transport enterprises and air transport and related transport organizations that arrange transportation and implement logistics operations.
