Awards and achievements of the educational program. International professional-public accreditation (Certificate 1341-08-A022.1 of March 21, 2014).

Russian Gnessin Academy of Music offers some more best educational programs in the field of Culture and Arts.

Teaching staff. The department employs outstanding musicians, successful performers combining duties of teachers and performers including two Professors, one Doctor of Sciences, one Associate Professor, one Candidate of Sciences. The staff of the department include V.A. Konnov, a holder of the title of People’s Artist of the Russian Federation; O.I. Matushkina, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation; I.V. Kazunina and A.I. Rudneva, Honored Cultural Workers of the Russian Federation, laureates of all-Russian and international competitions. The teachers independently organize numerous all-Russian and international competitions and festivals of pop and jazz music, cooperate in various international musical projects: The Voice, Main Stage, I Want to Meladze, People’s Artist, New Wave, Slavonic Bazaar, the Eurovision song contest.

Academy partners within the educational program. State Music Academy of Pop and Jazz Art, Gershwin Children’s Music School and other children’s music schools and children’s schools of art of Moscow and the Moscow Region, the Institute of Modern Art, Moscow State University of Culture, the State Chamber Orchestra of Jazz Music named after Oleg Lundstrem, the State Jazz Orchestra under the direction of I. Butman, etc.

Alumni’s achievements. All alumni are employed within their degree field, perform concert activities solo and ensemble, work in leading jazz orchestras of the country, teach at children’s schools of art, vocal studios, secondary specialized educational institutions and higher education institutions. The most famous alumni are participants and winners of the Factor A and The Voice TV projects: IulianaKaraulova, Aleksandra Vorobeva, Olga Siniaeva, IaroslavDronov, Sardor Milano, ArtemKacharian, Era Kan, and VeronikaLysakova (the Luna Theater soloist), Ekaterina Murashko (the Soprano Turetsky band soloist).

Facilities and resources. The dormitory is equipped with rehearsal rooms, a gym and an auditorium, and a sports ground. There is state-of-the-art recording audio and video equipment. The library and record library fund is regularly replenished with new editions and audio and video recordings. There are four concert halls.

Opportunities for students. Students perform active creative and concert activities. They also regularly visit concerts of modern outstanding performers, premieres of new compositions, attend master classes, concerts, the academy teachers’ classes in performance courses, participate in all-Russian and international competitions. A high level of students’ professional training is confirmed by their being in demand in the field of pop and jazz art.
