Programme presentation. The study programme “Technology of Transport Processes” is implemented in two bachelor’s and master’s specialties: “Management and Safety of Traffic” and “Logistics and Management of Road Transport”. The main objective of the Programme is training highly-qualified competitive specialists, who are ready to work in global complicated socio-economic environment.

The study process is performed in contemporary laboratories and classrooms, in transportation companies and research organizations.

The Programme is very popular among foreign students from China, Vietnam, Cambodia, Nepal and other countries.

Teaching staff. The teaching is performed by highly-qualified teaching staff, which includes 5 Doctors and 22 Candidates of Technical Sciences, an Honoured Worker of Transport of the Russian Federation. The Departments’ employees are awarded honorary titles of higher school; some of them are full members of different industrial academies. The Faculty places particular emphasis on practical training, which is conducted by highly-qualified practitioners.

The teaching staff develops and implements policies of managing road traffic and activities for improving safety within the framework of developing major state-funded and research work.

Competitiveness of students. Major departments train specialists, who can use innovative knowledge and skills in their professional activity. Students acquire practical skills in the development of design solutions of intellectual transport systems and skills in implementing contemporary and innovative transport and management technologies.

Bachelors, masters and postgraduates actively participate in research and academic activity. During the last five years more than 60 graduates have won national review competition of thesis projects.

Interaction with employers. In the framework of the Programme the Faculty cooperates with numerous specialized companies and institutions: Ministries of Transportation of RF and Moscow District, Department of Transportation of Moscow, State Unitary Enterprise “Mosgortrans”, the State Public Establishment “Organizer of Shipping”, State Traffic Safety Inspectorate, State Unitary Enterprises “MosgortransNIIproekt” and “NI and PI of Moscow’s General Layout”, OJSCs “Mosinjproekt” ,“NIIAT” and “Neurokom”.
