Programme presentation. Training specialists in the sphere of radio engineering has been carried out at the University for 40 years. During this period, the Faculty formed material facilities, maintained business connections with different companies and trained highly-qualified teaching staff based on research schools and continuity of traditions. Graduates acquire practical skills of operating the latest electronic equipment – automated measuring equipment based on personal and industrial computers, digital devices of signal generation, conversion and processing.
The University created comfortable conditions for study and leisure. It has classrooms equipped for desk, practical and laboratory studies, a research library with reference rooms and computer classrooms with access to all resources of the University. It also has a developed campus infrastructure.
Teaching staff. 8 Doctors and 16 Candidates of Sciences including those with the titles of Honoured Inventor of Russian Federation and
Competitiveness of students. The best award for teachers is achievements of students. Thus, for example, one of the postgraduate students of the Faculty became a laureate of the National Award in the sphere of innovations in the nomination “Best Innovative Project” at the 3rd All-Russian Youth Innovative Convent Skolkovo.
Upon completion of studies, graduates have good opportunities for career advancement and employment in enterprises of radio engineering sphere. They are in-demand in research and project institutes, HEIs and colleges.
Interaction with employers. The educational process is carried out in cooperation with partners of the University including high-tech enterprises of the republic: JSCˇ SPC "Russian radioelectronics", JSC “Sapphire”, JSC “Volna”, Radio broadcasting network for Republic of Dagestan, JSC “Dagbyttekhnika”, JSC “Aviaagregat”, JSC “TochnayaMekhanika”, “KEMZ” Company and others. In the course of work experience and pre-graduation practice students solidify their theoretical knowledge in profile disciplines.
