Education in the programme “Energy and Resource Saving Processes in Chemical Technology, Petrochemistry and Biotechnology”, obtained in SamSTU, is a solid foundation for a successful career, creativity and financial independence.

Programme presentation. The content, structure and quality of material and technical facilities of the university allow conducting the training of students in compliance with the requirements and objectives of higher professional education and meet the specifics of the professional educational programme. Integration of the educational process, re-search and practice is performed through the delivery of education in research centres of the university and in the major departments.

The Master’s degree programme was developed within the international TEMPUS project “Advanced M.Sc. Program in Ecology for the Volga-CaspianBasin” in close cooperation with European universities of Stuttgart, Warsaw, Parma and Barcelona.

Teaching staff. The programme is delivered by the enthusiastic and committed teaching staff which works effectively in educational, research, organizational and methodological areas. Most of the teachers have academic degrees of Doctor and Candidate of Science. Constant enhancement of educational technologies and improvement of professional skills, including professional development in universities of Germany, Poland, Italy and Spain, are becoming the determining factors of high performance of the teachers.

Competitiveness of students. The educational programme is interdisciplinary, which makes the graduates be in-demand in almost all manufacturing companies and administrative bodies. Placement for work experience within the programme ensures close cooperation with potential employers during the period of training.
