Teaching staff. The quality of teaching is ensured by highly qualified teaching staff. The program is delivered by six Doctors of Juridical Sciences, 58 Candidates of Sciences. Prosecutors, representatives of the justice system, state and municipal government officers and other employers are involved in the educational process.

University partners within the educational program. The faculty has agreements on cooperation with the University of Passau (Germany), the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn (Poland), Russian-Armenian University (Armenia), L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University (Kazakhstan), Renmin University of China (China), Russian-Tajic Slavonic University (Tajikistan), Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (Kirgizia).

Alumni’s achievements. The faculty’s prominent alumni include S.V. Zemliukov, Doctor of Juridical Sciences, Professor, a holder of the title of Distinguished Lawyer of the Russian Federation, Rector of Altay State University; D.V. Bessarabov, Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation; A.V. Berdnikov, Head of the Altai Republic, Chairman of the Altai Government; V.P. Shirnin, President of the Altai Territory Court; V.M. Ogai, President of the Altai Territory Arbitral Tribunal; N.P. Drozhzhina, President of the Notary Chamber of the Altai Territory; S. Shubenkov, Champion of Europe in track and field (2012).

Facilities and resources. The faculty has sufficient teaching and learning resources: forensic laboratories, testing facilities, courtrooms, properly equipped multimedia classrooms.

Opportunities for students. The faculty has the external Department of Advocacy under the Bar of the Altai Territory, the Department of Law Enforcement Court Activity under the Administration of the Justice Department of the Altai Territory, the Department of Legal Support of Credit Institutions under the Altai division of Sberbank of Russia, an external department of the Faculty of Law under the Siberian Bank of Sberbank of Russia. Students undergo their practical training at judicial bodies, prosecutors’ offices, investigation and advocacy departments. Students acquire their primary practical skills at the Femida juridical clinic.

Employment prospects. Graduates from the program are employed in court, prosecution and domestic affairs departments, notary system, government authorities, at enterprises of all types of ownership, and as teachers at higher education institutions and colleges.
