Accreditation. Professional–public accreditation (2021).
Awards and achievements. Every year students are awarded the Russian President and Russian Government Scholarships. Students are members of Student Councils at the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the RF and the Ministry of Health of the RF, are members of the Expert Council of the Youth Parliament at the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation. The student brigades unit returned to life in 2021.
Teaching staff. The program is delivered by 44 departments in 109 disciplines. The academic degree holders ratio is 71.3%. The Faculty of General Medicine comprises 20 departments. The faculty employs 43 teachers – Doctors of Medical Sciences, 132 Candidates of Medical Sciences, ten Honored Doctors of the RF, two Honored Inventors, eight Honored Workers of Public Health.
Facilities and resources. The leading healthcare organizations in Voronezh and the region are the university’s clinical facilities. State-of-the-art simulation technologies are used at the multidisciplinary accreditation and simulation center. There is a well-developed system of interactive communication in the university’s electronic educational environment (MOODLE and Webinar platforms).
Education. Teachers use novel educational models and technologies. The learning process is monitored using the single information learning management system TANDEM. University.
Research. In 2021, the university conducted four studies as part of grant financing offered by the Council for Grants of the President of the Russian Federation to support young Russian researchers and leading scientific schools. The project developed by the Department of General and Ambulatory Surgery won the Innovations Cup contest in 2021.
Competitive advantages. The university has everything to provide fundamental and practical training of specialists ensuring the university graduates’ competitiveness. The university cooperates with the medical faculty of the Humboldt University of Berlin, Charité University Clinic (Germany), Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg (Germany), Çukurova University in Adana (Turkey), Varna Medical University (Bulgaria), Harbin Medical University (China).
Employers and employment. Over 95% of graduates are employed by medical organizations in Voronezh and the Central Federal District. All students are registered on the Facultetus platform.
