Awards and achievements. As part of the All-Russian project Best Educational Programs of Innovative Russia, this program was ranked among the best programs in 2017–2021.

Teaching staff. The educational program is delivered by highly qualified teachers, including 50 Doctors of Sciences, over 120 Candidates of Sciences, and heads of medical institutions.

Facilities and resources. The clinical facilities are the best medical institutions in Ivanovo. The academy has a clinic specializing in patient’s rehabilitation.

Education. To successfully master the educational program, students can use classrooms, lecture halls, a multidisciplinary simulation and accreditation center equipped with high-technology simulators and robotized manikins.
The vast majority of graduates successfully undergo a primary specialist accreditation and gain admission to practice.

Strategic partners. The academy cooperates with the executive bodies of nine constituent entities of the Russian Federation and maintains contacts with educational institutions of Belarus, Moldova, and Uzbekistan.

Research. Teachers and students conduct research in the following major areas: “Age-related aspects of health development depending on medical and social factors, modern technologies of prognosis, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases in children,”;
“Development of new methods of prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation in children and adults with surgical and orthopedic-traumatologic pathology.” The academy edits the scientific and practical journal “Bulletin of the Ivanovo Medical
Academy,” included in the List of Russian peer-reviewed journals, which publish key research findings of Doctor’s and Candidate’s theses. The journal is also included into the Russian Science Citation Index and the Cyberleninka research electronic library.
