Accreditation. State accreditation (Certificate № 2943 of November 14, 2018). Professional-public accreditation (the Medical League, Certificate № 034/19 of December 20, 2019).
Awards and achievements. Students get the Russian President and the Russian Government Scholarships in the priority areas of modernization and technological development of the Russian economy. Students win regional and international Olympiads, take an active part in the Olympiad “I am a Professional” and speak at international conferences. In cooperation with teachers, students participate in the RFBR grant and research and technological development, have papers published in the journals listed by the State Commission for Academic Degrees and Titles.
Teaching staff. All teachers have major-related education. International cooperation is actively maintained as part of the program.
Facilities and resources. The disciplines are taught at 20 departments, one of which has a training and industrial pharmacy, as well as at the drug research and quality control laboratory. All students are provided with study materials and access to the Student’s
Consultant electronic library system and individual access to the SSMU electronic educational portal that contains key teaching and learning materials.
Education. Students do practical training using high-tech specialized equipment and simulation technologies, which allows graduates to perform their duties in the workplace confidently. In the 2021-2022 academic year, the joint educational program in Pharmacy is
successfully implemented with Samarkand State Medical Institute (Uzbekistan).
Research. Teachers and students are actively engaged in research in various areas of healthcare and pharmacy.
Competitive advantages. The faculty has its own drug research and quality control laboratory and training and industrial pharmacy. There is a well-developed system of continuing pharmaceutical education – the faculty delivers Pharmacy residency programs in three
specialties.
Employers and employment. Graduates are employed according to the employer-sponsored education agreements with the Ministry of Health of the Saratov Region, the Ministry of Internal Affairs as well as at pharmaceutical organizations.
