Programme presentation. Within the framework of the specialty “Applied Decorative Art and Folk Crafts” the Ural State Academy of Architecture and Arts trains bachelors in “Metal Art”, “Ceramic Art”, and “Weaving Art”. The duration of training is 4 years. The programme includes lecture courses, seminars, course projects, which include interactive projects, active practical classes, and master-classes of the leading specialists of the industry.
The Institute trains specialists in the sphere of applied decorative art and folk crafts with creative thinking and practical skills, who are ready to work in the competitive environment of the labour market for achieving financial stability and effective performance.
Students study work of arts of different application: items and products of cultural and general purpose, decorative plastic arts, decorative interior design.
Major departments are equipped with special-purpose classrooms and workshops.
