Achievements. Every year students of the Economics Faculty take an active part in competitive scholarship programs. Among students of academic year 2019-2020 are holders of scholarships of the RF President, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan and Mayor of Kazan. Many graduates hold top executive positions at commercial organizations of the republic and Russia as well as leading positions at government entities.
Teaching staff is not only highly qualified, but also has rather good research performance indicators and required work experience in economics. Over 87% of teachers have academic degrees and titles, 99% have discipline-related education. The heads of banking and finance and tax companies, with more than 10 years’ work experience, take an active part in developing and delivering the educational programs.
Facilities and resources. All students have continuous access to the electronic library systems www.iprbooks.ru and www.urait.ru, the Garant legal information system and electronic textbooks in ISU VUZ – the learning process management system which is an exclusive development of the University of Management “TISBI.” The educational environment comprises a package of specialized licensed software that allows students to simulate the business processes of a virtual economic agent and analyze its activity. Students have access to the electronic system "Chief Accountant: Check of Contractors." During practical classes, students regularly use Internet services of the Federal Service of Court Bailiffs, the Russian State Register, Consultant, My judge, Justice, and services of the Federal Tax Service account services.
Education. The balance of theory and practice is an advantage of training. Teachers use innovative educational technologies: case studies, interactive classes in small research teams, workshops and business role plays that help students immerse themselves in the near-real working environment of an economic agent, a commercial bank, or a tax office. As part of projects, each student develops business planning skills. Students undertake internships to develop primary abilities and skills in the Laboratory of Simulation Modeling using the computer simulation business game "BUSINESS COURSE: Corporation Plus" and the management system "1С:Enterprise 8.2." Graduates can pursue Master’s and PhD degrees at the University of Management "TISBI" or foreign partner universities in the Czech Republic, Finland, China, and the USA.
Strategic partners. The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the RT, the Federal Tax Service Directorate in the RT, the Interdistrict Inspectorate of the Federal Tax Service of Russia for Major Taxpayers №4, Sberbank of Russia, AK BARS Bank, Commercial Bank of Economic Development "Bank of Kazan," Promsvyazbank, Rosbank, Alfa Bank, and some major enterprises in Tatarstan.
