Awards and achievements. The program successfully underwent state accreditation in 2020. The certificate confirming that the Proftest research and education center was rated A in 2018. The certificate of independent evaluation of education quality from the autonomous non-for-profit organization "Informexpertise Project Implementation Group" (2019).
Teaching staff. The program is delivered by 20 teachers. Over 30% are Doctors of Sciences. NCFU develops academic staff mobility. Researchers from Russia, Germany, Portugal, Italy, Serbia are invited.
Facilities and resources. There are training and practical laboratories such as Mini-bank and Mini-exchange with specialized software. Specialized departments of financial markets and digital economy technologies are also engaged in the teaching process.
Research. Students and teachers do their research in the scientific laboratory, take part in forums, conferences, contests, Olympiads, international student mobility projects. There is a research and education center "Innovative Development of the Banking and Finance Sector". The institute implements R&D on the finance and credit mechanism in the context of market relations.
Education. Interactive seminars, discussions, computer simulations, business games and role plays, case study, teamwork. Specific regional and professional features are taken into account. Students have access to electronic library systems such as Lan' Publishing House, Student Consultant, University Library Online, IPRbooks, databases such as Web of Science, Scopus, the University Information System RUSSIA, Consultant+ (professional version).
Strategic partners. The Main Branch of the Bank of Russia, Sberbank, the Ministry of Finance of the Stavropol Territory, the Federal Treasury Department of Russia, the Directorate of the Federal Tax Service of Russia, BCS Premier, Finam-Stavropol, Rossgostrakh-Stavropol, Broker Center, and other organizations.
International projects and programs. NCFU researchers implement joint research projects with the Sapienza University of Rome, the University of Lisbon, University of Applied Labour Studies of the Federal Employment Agency (HdBA) (Germany). The university implements the double degree program in Corporate Finance jointly with the Sapienza University of Rome and the continuing education program in Economics, Management and Finance jointly with the Sapienza University of Rome and the University of Lisbon.
Competitive advantages. Students undertake internships at credit organizations, ministries, government agencies, and credit and financial institutions of entities in the North Caucasian Federal District. Specialists and experts deliver open lectures.
