Achievements. The program underwent external expert evaluation (the Guild of Experts in the Sphere of Professional Education and the National Center for Public Accreditation) and was ranked among the Best Educational Programs of Innovative Russia. The university took part in the independent and objective evaluation of students' knowledge, co-hosted the Olympiad “I am Professional.”
Teaching staff. Teachers are participants of international scientific programs, members of Russian and international associations, editorial boards of medical journals, specialized dissertation councils, special academic and methodological commissions of the RF Ministry of Healthcare, external experts of the Ministry of Health of Bashkortostan.
Facilities and resources. The departments are located at the premises of the university clinic and the largest multidisciplinary medical institutions in Ufa.
Research. The faculty is famous for its innovative approach to interdisciplinary research, participation in the study of the most important issues in medicine. It established the research institutes of oncology, cardiology, new medical technologies, rehabilitation medicine, and health resort study.
The key scientific achievements are effectively introduced into practical healthcare thanks to the university clinic with various medical centers that deliver specialized high-technology medical care. The Robotic Surgery Center performs surgeries using a daVinci robot.
Education. Active and interactive teaching methods (computer simulations, business games and role plays, clinical case studies) are used. The university has a multidisciplinary accreditation and simulation center of the 3rd (highest) level for the acquisition and consolidation of practical skills. Students have access to the ELS. Training is provided at major medical institutions of Ufa with state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic equipment.
Strategic partners. I.M. Sechenov First Moscow SMU, MSUMD named after A.I. Evdokimov, Samara SMU, Saratov SMU, KazNMU named after S.D. Asfendiyarov, medical universities of Karaganda and Semey, Tashkent State Dental Institute, Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute, universities of Harbin, Sichuan, Nanchang, Wenzhou Medical University, Qingdao Academic Park, Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, Social Medicine Center East - Donauspital of the Medical University of Vienna, medical faculties of universities in Regensburg and Heidelberg, Dresden University of Technology, UAS Kaiserslautern.
International projects and programs. Regular student exchange programs are implemented in collaboration with medical universities in China, Germany, Kazakhstan. Master classes with foreign colleagues and student internships are conducted.
Assistance and support for international students and teachers. There are 1,596 citizens of CIS and other foreign countries studying at the faculty.
