Achievements. The program underwent external expert evaluation (the Guild of Experts in the Sphere of Professional Education and the National Center for Public Accreditation) and was ranked among the Best Educational Programs of Innovative Russia. The university took part in the independent and objective evaluation of students' knowledge, co-hosted the Olympiad “I am Professional.”
Teaching staff. The faculty comprises eight departments that employ 30 Professors, Doctors of Sciences, including 11 Doctors of Pharmaceutical Sciences, as well as 17 Candidates of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Teachers are participants of international scientific programs, members of Russian and international associations, editorial boards of medical journals, the Special Academic and Methodological Commission for Dentistry of the RF Ministry of Health.
Facilities and resources. The departments are located in a separate building of the faculty. Students undertake all kinds of internships at the university clinic pharmacy, the compounding pharmacies of Bashfarmatsia of the Ministry of Health of Bashkortostan, municipal pharmacies of Ufa, Pharmstandart-UfaVita, Microgen. Students undertake educational pharmacognosy internships at the botanical garden institute of the Academy of Sciences of Bashkortostan, the Herbs of Bashkiria company, the VILAR facilities in the Krasnodar and Altai Territories, the Raduga (Rainbow) plant collective farm of Crimea.
Research. The faculty is famous for its innovative approach to interdisciplinary research and its scientific developments. Research is conducted in the field of production of new biologically active substances based on vegetable drugs and chemical synthetics, development of new drug dosage forms. Pharmacological, pharmacoeconomic, and pharmacoeconomic studies are also conducted.
Education. Active and interactive teaching methods, a simulation center for acquisition of practical skills, access to the ELS. The best students are holders of the RF President and the RF Government scholarships in the priority national projects. Graduates can pursue a Master’s degree and a medical residency program.
Strategic partners. I.M. Sechenov First Moscow SMU, Saint-Petersburg State Chemical and Pharmaceutical University, SamSMU, Pyatigorsk Medical and Pharmaceutical Institute, Siberian SMU, Altai SMU, Perm State Pharmaceutical Academy, Kazan SMU, Belarusian SMU, South Kazakhstan Medical Academy, KazNMU named after S.D. Asfendiyarov, Kyrgyz State Medical Academy, universities of Sichuan and Nanchang, Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, VILAR, etc.
International projects and programs. The faculty implements regular student and staff exchange programs with top medical universities of China and Kazakhstan, organizes master classes with the participation of colleagues from China and the USA, and study placements and internships for international students.
Assistance and support for international students and teachers. 37 international students from CIS and other foreign countries are studying at the faculty.
