Awards and achievements. Professional-public accreditation certificate №027/18 valid till June 13, 2021, issued by the Medical League of Russia (the all-Russian non-governmental organization). The Grant from the Russian Foundation for Basic Research “Search for Inhibitors of Glycoprotein-P Transport Protein among Vegetable Matters.”
Teaching staff. Training is provided by seven Sc.D.-s and 22 PhD-s including five Professors and 18 Associate Professors.
Facilities and resources. The university has state-of-the-art instrument facilities: Tabletpress 6000S, SmartSpectPlus scanning spectrophotometer, Erweka tablet hardness tester, Erweka tablet and capsule dissolution control tester, Erweka electronic tablet friability control tester, a filtering and batch dispensing installation, UPM-2 ointment production installation, Erweka electronic suppository disintegration tester, a vacuum-evaporator installation, REAX control vortex, a universal analog control shaker, a refractometer, a circular polarimeter, a conductometer, an ion meter, a demineralized ultra-pure water generator, a Fourier transform IR spectrophotometer.
Research. The faculty develops new and improves existing drug dosage forms using resource-saving technologies and biopharmaceutical studies, develops extraction and chemical modification methods. It conducts phytochemical studies of biologically active substances of medicinal plants and a study of silver and gold glyconanoparticles. The Grant from the Russian President for state support of young Russian scientists – PhD-s MK-1856.2020.7. The Change in Structural and Functional Characteristics of Glycoprotein-P due to Prooxidants.
Education. Teachers use state-of-the-art simulation equipment, which allows them to train highly qualified and competitive specialists.
Strategic partners. The university cooperates with pharmaceutical companies such as Octapharma–Pharmimex, FORT, ECOlab, Pharmera, Scopinpharm.
