Awards and achievements of the educational program. This educational program underwent state accreditation and many times was listed in the Best Educational Programs of Innovative Russia.

State University of Humanities and Social Studies offers two more best educational programs in the field of Humanities:

LAW - Bachelor’s program

LINGUISTICS - Bachelor’s program

Teaching staff. The faculty employs highly qualified educators; 100% of the faculty staff are holders of academic degrees, including five Doctors of Sciences (three of them have the academic title of Professor) and 27 Candidates of Sciences, Associate Professors. Numerous achievements of the teaching staff include the award of the international contest for the best scholarly book in humanities in 2014. The faculty features two scientific schools: Psychology of Spirituality and I.P. Bashkatov’s School.

University partners within the educational program. The university currently cooperates with the Institute of Psychology of the RussianAcademy of Sciences, the Psychological Institute of the RussianAcademy of Education, the Herzen State Pedagogical University of Russia, the Sociology Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, YerevanStateUniversity, the Faculty of Psychology of St. Cyril and St. Methodius University of VelikoTarnovo (Bulgaria).

Students’ and alumni’s achievements. The faculty alumni include two Candidates of Psychological Sciences, two holders of the award of the Governor of the Moscow Region (2014, 2016). Many times the faculty’s students became the winners of international olympiads in psychology and pedagogy: A. Kozlov in the International Olympiad in Psychology (2013); D. Zakharian took the third place in the Sixth International Art Week for Students of Russian Educational Institutions (2017); T. Iurgilas took the first place in the International Contest in Conflict Management (2017); M. Azorskaia became a laurate of the contest “National Treasure of Russia” (2016); K. Shvetsova got a certificate for the best literature review at the international youth contest of scientific works (2016).

Facilities and resources. There are two dormitories, two sports grounds, academic buildings, four gym halls, a media room, a medical station on the campus. The faculties have specialized libraries and classrooms, classrooms with the state-of-the-art multimedia equipment, computerized classrooms with internet and e-library access.

Opportunities for students. Students have several of their practical training sessions at different internship placements, including international partner universities in Belarus, China, the USA, Germany, and Bulgaria. Before the internship students may take a necessary language course at the university.
