Awards and achievements of the educational program. This educational program underwent state accreditation and several times was recognized as one of the Best Educational Programs of Innovative Russia.

State University of Humanities and Social Studies offers two more best educational programs in the field of Humanities:

LAW - Bachelor’s program

PSYCHOLOGY - Bachelor’s Program

Teaching staff. Over 90% of educators are holders of academic degrees and/or academic titles; almost all of them did international internships and have international certificates of Common Reference, Levels C1-C2. The educational process involves representatives of top translation agencies of the Moscow Region as well as foreign experts from China, France and other countries.

University partners within the educational program. The university has an agreement on cooperation with K-Engineering, a top-ranked translation company in the Moscow Region; cooperates with Lomonosov Moscow State University, Moscow State University of Education, Moscow State Linguistic University in the sphere of research and methodology; interacts with the embassies of China, the USA, France, Japan and representation offices of international publishers. Student and faculty academic mobility is supported by agreements with universities from China, France, and Germany.

Students’ and alumni’s achievements. The faculty’s students win international contests and national olympiads in foreign languages and translation: they are granted scholarships of the French Embassy in Russia for Master studies in the University of Caen Normandy (France) and for EU Study Weeks; as well as are awarded with diplomas for the best presentations. In 2015 and 2016 the students were awarded the scholarship of the Governor of the Moscow Region, and in 2016 the award of the Governor of the Moscow Region for academic excellence. The high qualification of alumni linguists is proved by good references and appreciation letters from employers. Many graduates continue their study abroad.

Facilities and resources. The faculty classrooms are fully equipped with the state-of-the-art multimedia, they comprise computer classes and a language laboratory. A self-access center, a reading hall and a media room of the library offer opportunities for autonomous learning. Among the university facilities there are comfortable dormitories for non-residents, a well-equipped stadium, sports halls and grounds.

Opportunities for students. Students can benefit from academic mobility and study placements in China, France, Germany, Ireland, the UK, and the USA; and still it is planned to increase the number of partner universities from the European and Asian countries. Students take part in major international sports events in Russia as volunteer interpreters. They have practical training in translation agencies, large national and international companies of Moscow and the Moscow Region.
