Awards and achievements. The Quality Management System Certificate of Conformity issued by the Russian Register Certification Association, the professional-public accreditation certificate issued by the Medical League of Russia, the positive expert opinion of the chief freelance dentist of the Department of Healthcare of the Voronezh Region, the President of the regional non-governmental organization "Dental Association."

Teaching staff. The educational program is delivered by 42 departments, including five specialized departments. 245 teachers out of 311 have academic degrees or titles, including 59 Doctors of Sciences, holders of the Russian Government Award, Honored Workers of Higher Education and Honored Doctors of the RF.

Facilities and resources. The university has its dental clinic, the dental class at the VSMU simulation-based training center, 3D dental simulators, laboratories, medical classrooms, phantom and computer classrooms, classrooms with modern equipment.

Research is performed on 17 interdisciplinary topics. The university cooperates with advanced research and medical institutions, including 17 foreign organizations, eight research institutes, 11 Russian HEIs, two healthcare agencies, and a number of commercial enterprises.

Education. There is an electronic educational environment Moodle that contains complete study courses, modules, videos, textbooks, tests, computer programs, and any other knowledge transfer methods. Hi-tech simulators in the virtual clinic as well as phantoms and dummies are used. Video conferences are held using Webinar technology.

Strategic partners. Moscow State University of Medicine and Dentistry named after A.I. Evdokimov, Saratov SMU, RUDN University, Volgograd SMU, Belgorod State University, etc. The faculty is fully engaged in the work of the Dentistry Research and Education Medical Cluster as an equal partner and representative of the East-European division of the Central Federal District.

International projects and programs. The university scientists implement joint research projects with the universities of Germany, Italy, China, the USA, Hungary, Turkey, Poland, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan.

Assistance and support for international students and teachers. The university comprises the International Institute of Medical Education and Cooperation. About 1,500 foreign specialists from 63 countries have been trained by VSMU.
