Achievements and awards. Students are awarded silver and bronze certificates according to the results of the Federal Internet Exam for Bachelor students. They are prize winners and winners of the annual regional research contests in applied economic research, the All-Russian contest of research works and projects of young researchers in economics, the international internet olympiad in economics. Our graduates hold managerial positions at government agencies and commercial entities.

Teaching staff. Training is provided by the academic staff of the department and practicing economists that represent research institutions, government bodies, organizations of the real sector of economy including credit organizations. The academic degree holders rate is 87.33%.

Facilities and resources. The institute has state-of-the-art facilities and resources that ensure the high-quality educational and scientific process taking into account all requirements of the educational standards.

Research. The most promising research areas include the following: digital economy: challenges of the future; current issues in public finance; behavioral economics; tax culture and tax collection.

Education. Training is provided in two majors: Tax and Taxation and Banking and Finance. The representatives of employing organizations give lectures and seminars. The teachers actively use case technologies, business games, online laboratory works of the information system Contour Expert, online testing, etc. The department regularly holds round tables, scientific and practical conferences, contests of student scientific papers.

Strategic partners. The institute cooperates with the Economic Research Institute of the Far-Eastern Branch of the Russian Academy of Science (the specialized Department of Financial Economics was established); the Municipal Administrative Authority "The City of Khabarovsk;" the Departments of the Federal Tax Service and the Federal Treasury in the Khabarovsk Territory; the Government of the Khabarovsk Territory; the Russian Agricultural Bank; the branch of the VTB Bank in Khabarovsk.

International projects and programs. Students regularly participate in the international internet olympiad in economics and the international contests held by the Youth Union of Economists and Financiers of the Russian Federation, etc.
