Current position in rankings. NCFU was ranked 201 - 250 in Top 300 universities in the BRICS countries according to the international agency Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) in 2018. It was included in Top 35 Russian HEIs in the field of Economics and Management by the RAEX rating agency (Expert RA) in 2017.
Awards and achievements. The program successfully underwent state accreditation in 2014 and obtained the certificate of the Guild of Experts in the Sphere of Professional Education. It underwent professional-public accreditation in November 2015. The teachers of the departments are frequent winners of grants provided by the Russian Humanitarian Science Foundation and the Russian Foundation for Basic Research.
Teaching staff. The teaching staff includes four Doctors of Sciences, eight Candidates of Sciences as well as the representatives of government bodies and business.
Facilities and resources. The university has 17 academic buildings, comfortable dormitories, a research library, and gyms. Students can attend specialized sports clubs and creative studios.
Research. The main research areas include the development of informational analysis capabilities of CGE models based on the dynamic interindustry balance; data mining and digital economy; virtual business foresight.
Education. The educational process focuses on cloud technologies, e-commerce, business automation systems, data mining. The university provides professional retraining in Internet-marketing Communications and Business Process Improvement; Accounting Automation in Commercial Organizations.
Strategic partners. The university cooperates with Higher School of Economics,
International projects and programs. In 2018 the department received financial support from the European Union in the Erasmus + program (Jean Monnet Project "Digital Economy and Education: The European Experience").
Competitive advantages. The teaching staff of the institute and the department is highly qualified; the training program is up-to-date, graduates are in great demand on the labor market (project managers, software sales managers, IT consultants, employees at technical support departments, heads of IT departments).
Assistance and support for foreign students and teachers. NCFU established the Department of International Cooperation for internationalization of the educational and research process.
