Achievements. Participation in the grants from the Russian Foundation for Basic Research, the Russian Foundation for Humanitarian Research, the Russkiy Mir Foundation, conferences, victories in scholarship programs, professional and research competitions at different levels.

Teaching staff. The program is delivered by 79 teachers. Over 80% have academic degrees of Doctor and Candidate of Sciences. NCFU develops academic staff mobility. Researchers from Russia and Slovenia are also engaged in the teaching process.

Facilities and resources. Students undertake internships at specialized internship platforms. There are training aids departments with specialized equipment and software.

Research is conducted in the field of information technologies, text linguistics, functional studying of literature, training and education methods and technologies. Research findings are presented at conferences at different levels, published in the leading peer-reviewed scientific journals, including those on the list of the State Commission for Academic Degrees and Titles, Scopus, and WOS.

Education. The educational process is based on learner-centered and activity approaches, teachers actively use project-based learning strategies, distance learning technologies and new digital learning technologies, conversational forms, master classes, the case method, etc.

Strategic partners. Stavropol Regional Institute for the Development of Education, Advanced Training and Retraining of Educators, educational institutions in Stavropol and the Stavropol Territory, the universities in former USSR countries.

International projects and programs. NCFU takes part in в international projects, in particular, for sharing experience in pedagogy, teaching methodology, theory and history of Russian language and literature. Among them is the European Union project as part of the Erasmus + program (Jean Monnet Foundation) "European resource saving trends in Computer Science teacher training," projects with Samarkand State University, Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after B.N. Yeltsin, University of Ljubljana, etc.

Every year students and PhD students undertake internships at the universities in Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Slovenia, Germany, Austria.

Competitive advantages. Students undertake internships at educational institutions participating in the RAS Schools project, as well as winners of the contests "100 Best Schools of Russia," The Best Inclusive School, and other organizations applying innovative educational models and technologies. The university develops the system of continuing pedagogical education, delivers continuing professional education programs.
