Achievements. The educational program underwent professional-public accreditation (Certificate №034/19 of December 20, 2019, issued by the all-Russian non-governmental organization "Medical League of Russia").
Teaching staff. All teachers have basic major-related education. Over 70% of them have academic degrees, and 63 teachers have a degree of Doctor of Sciences. The heads and employees of specialized organizations are also engaged in the teaching process.
Facilities and resources. The university has a dental clinic, the Practical Skills Center of the faculty, the dental technical production facility allowing students to individually acquire professional abilities and skills.
Research. Combined therapy and rehabilitation in patients with dental pathology; etiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis, clinical findings, treatment and prevention of periodontal diseases; treatment of dental pathology burdened with somatic diseases; head morphology and morphogenesis, preventive dentistry and public dental health; skeletal orthodontic support.
Education. Dentists are trained in accordance with the professional standard, with subsequent specialization in the following main areas: dental therapy, dental surgery, orthodontics, pediatric dentistry. The teachers widely use state-of-the-art educational models and technologies: the educational portal, electronic educational systems, electronic educational resources, business games. They accumulate active and interactive approaches: academic, information and communication, activity, practice-oriented approaches.
Strategic partners. Partnership relations are maintained within two academic and research clusters: the All-Russian Dentistry Cluster under the aegis of Moscow State University of Medicine and Dentistry named after A.I. Evdokimov and the Volga Region Cluster with a methodological center at Samara SMU.
International projects and programs. As part of academic mobility programs the university participates in staff and student exchange with Belarusian SMU, West Kazakhstan Marat Ospanov SMU, Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University.
Competitive advantages. The faculty boasts intense enrollment competition, highly qualified teaching staff and well-developed facilities and resources.
Assistance and support for foreign students and teachers. Emphasis is placed on individual work. The tutorial support system is implemented. Students are accommodated in comfortable guarded dormitories where they are supported by tutors.
