Achievements and awards. The program underwent state accreditation in 2020.
In 2017 it successfully underwent international professional-public accreditation carried out by the National Centre for Public Accreditation.
The students of the department were awarded the diplomas of the II All-Russian Interuniversity Summit with international participation “Choice of the Best. Time Ahead” of pharmaceutical universities and companies with a scientific project. Students participate in the annual team competition between students of Russian HEIs in solving scientific tasks (Maria Gaponenko was frequently awarded diplomas as the best opponent (2018, 2019).
The department won the all-Russian UMNIK contest with the project “Development of new-generation transdermal mucin-based topically-applied drug products using the living cell biosimulation method to regenerate keloid scars” (2018) and the international scientific and practical conference “Pharmaceutical Technology Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow.”
Teaching staff. The degree-granting department employs 2 Doctors of Sciences and 9 Candidates of Sciences. The representatives of employers’ – top enterprises, pharmaceutical and research organizations including the head of the Pulse research and production association, First Deputy of Director General for Production and Re-equipment, and other specialists are engaged in the educational process.
Facilities and resources. There are state-of-the-art devices including a laboratory hydraulic press with force, a device for solving drug substances contained in tablets and capsules, Classic 6 solubility test equipment.
Research. The university established the methodological school "Fundamental Problems of Medicine and Pharmacy." Research is conducted in the area "Clinical pharmacological studies of activity of medicinal products and new biologically active compounds."
Education. State-of-the-art ICT, problem-based and split-level learning technologies are used.
Strategic partners. NPK ESKOM, Pulse, Stavropol City Drugstores, Stavropol Research Anti-Plague Institute of Rospotrebnadzor, Stavropol Botanical Garden named after V.V. Skripchinsky.
Competitive advantages. Graduates are in high demand at research institutes, enterprises of various pharmaceutical sectors and industries. The department has trained over 100 pharmacists.
Assistance and support for foreign students and teachers. Internationalization of the educational and research process is one of NCFU's top priorities and is a strategically important vector of the university development. NCFU established the Department of International Cooperation.
