Accreditation. Professional–public accreditation (2021).
Awards and achievements. Students get the Russian President and Russian Government scholarships. The program was evaluated as part of external and internal audits and recognized as compliant with the education quality standards of ISO 9001:2015. The teachers hold the titles of Professor Emeritus (2018) and Excellent Worker of Public Health (2021).
Teaching staff. The academic disciplines of the program are taught by 15 Doctors of Sciences, ten Professors, 65 Candidates of Sciences, including Honored Worker of Higher Education of the Russian Federation, Honored Worker of Science and Education of the Russian Academy of Natural History, Honored Doctor of the RF, Excellent Worker of Public Health.
Facilities and resources. The training pharmacy, five dormitories, laboratory facilities with state-of-the-art equipment, computer classrooms, Research Institute of Experimental Biology and Medicine of VSMU named after N.N. Burdenko (RI EBM). There is an electronic
information and educational environment.
Education. Teachers use novel educational models and technologies: problem-based techniques for giving lectures and performing seminars, group consultations, project activities, press conferences, and others. The university has been implementing FSES HE 3++ since September 1, 2019. The single information learning management system TANDEM. University, distance learning on MOODLE and Webinar platforms.
Research. Monitoring of antimicrobial resistance and rational antimicrobial therapy for urinary tract infections. Identification of adverse reactions to some drug products and their pharmacological correction. Study of pharmacological effects of known and new
biologically active substances with antioxidant properties. Development of compositions and pharmaceutical manufacturing technology using natural raw materials.
Competitive advantages. The university cooperates with the medical faculty of the Humboldt University of Berlin, Charité University Clinic (Germany), Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg (Germany), Çukurova University in Adana (Turkey), Varna Medical University
(Bulgaria), Harbin Medical University (China). It maintains research cooperation with Kyushu University (Japan). Participation in international conferences (“Semmelweis” in Budapest).
Employers and employment. There are over 30 practical training facilities, including the Voronezh Center for Quality Assurance and Certification of Medicinal Products, the Federal budget-supported enterprise of the Voronezh Region “Voronezhfarmatsia,” Servier JSC, and others.
