Achievements. The educational program is ranked among Best Educational Programs of Innovative Russia.
Teaching staff. Training is provided by 16 subdivisions and over 150 teachers, 80% of whom have academic degrees of Doctors and Candidates of Sciences. The degree-granting departments are the Department of Chemical Engineering of Pharmaceutical Substances
and the Department of Industrial Pharmaceutical Technology.
Facilities and resources. The departments have state-of-the-art laboratory analytical and process equipment. There is a GMP training center equipped with state-of-the-art devices. It consists of a laboratory, clean manufacturing premises of sections of solids, sterile dosage forms, semisolids.
Education. Classes are conducted offline using digital learning technologies in the electronic information and educational environment.
Strategic partners. To provide practical training for students, the university maintains contacts with its strategic partners – pharmaceutical companies such as BIOCAD, Pfizer, Vertex, Geropharm, Novartis Neva, Pharmproject, Grotex, Medpolymer Firm, Samson-Med,
Rosbio, Active Component, Pharmsynthez, Akrihin, R-Pharm, Veropharm, Biosynthez.
The university implements innovative educational projects with top international pharmaceutical companies such as Pfizer, Novartis, Abbott. Students attend educational modules taught by companies’ specialists in the form of lectures, hands-on classes, master
classes. Upon completion of the educational module, students take a test and are interviewed. The students with better scores undertake summer work placements at pharmaceutical enterprises located in Great Britain, Ireland, Italy, the USA, and other countries.
Research is conducted to develop technologies and methods for analyzing and standardizing new and modified pharmaceutical substances and products: search for new medicines among modified polysaccharides, including innovation technologies in the development of herbal medicinal products, risk analysis in the quality management system.
Competitive advantages. This program is a unique program that trains pharmaceutical industry specialists. Graduates are in high demand in the labor market.

Among graduates are pharmaceutical industry leaders at different levels, heads of pharmacy chains, pharmaceutical organizations and warehouses, drug promotion specialists, pharmacy technicians, pharmacy analysts, staff of analytical, forensic and chemical, phytochemical laboratories, quality control specialists at pharmaceutical enterprises, medical representatives of pharmaceutical companies.
