Accreditation. State accreditation.
Awards and achievements. Since 2012 this educational program has been recognized as the best program by the Guild of Experts in the Sphere of Professional Education and the National Centre for Public Accreditation.
Admission requirements. Applicants are admitted on a competitive basis based on the results of entrance exams in chemistry, biology and the Russian language (chemistry and biology for citizens of foreign states).
Education. There are first-class pedagogical and scientific and practical schools. Modern educational models and strategies (hands-on workshops, problem-based lectures, simulation courses, role plays, problem-based learning technologies, case study, and others) are widely used combined with out-of-class work.
Foreign nationals are taught by the most experienced teachers. Students are socialized so that they can adapt to Russia and learn Russian, familiarize themselves with Russian culture, traditions and lifestyle.
Each international student group has a tutor who helps students solve their social, everyday and other problems. International students take an active part in the university and interuniversity sports competitions, student springs, national evening parties and festivals.
Scholarships and grants. Students academic scholarships, including increased ones, for academic, research, social, cultural and creative and sports excellence. Personal scholarships as well as Rector’s and Academic Board’s scholarships are awarded. While studying, students take part in the competitions to get the Russian President and the Russian Government Scholarships. They have an opportunity to implement their innovative ideas at the startup center and get grant support for their projects at regional and all-Russian levels.

Employers and employment. Education and practical training are provided at the clinical facilities at the leading medical organizations in Samara: V. D. Seredavin Samara State Clinical Hospital, N.N. Ivanova Samara Region Children’s Clinical Hospital, Samara Region Children’s Infectious Diseases Hospital, and others, which helps students choose their major and subsequently find a job more easily.
