Accreditation. State accreditation.
Admission requirements. Applicants are admitted on a competitive basis based on the results of their entrance exams in chemistry, biology and the Russian language (chemistry and biology for citizens of foreign states).
Education. The Institute’s mission is to solve innovative, educational and research tasks to train competitive personnel for the international system of preventive healthcare. The educational program is delivered based on vertical integration of basic, clinical and
preventive medicine disciplines, development of an individual practice-oriented learning path that includes active and interactive forms, simulation technologies as well as cooperation with the Breakthrough Research Center and the research and production technology park and training at the university’s educational and research laboratory.
Foreign nationals are taught by the most experienced teachers. Students are socialized so that they can adapt to Russia and learn Russian, familiarize themselves with Russian culture, traditions and lifestyle.
Each international student group has a tutor who helps students solve their social, everyday and other problems. International students take an active part in the university and interuniversity sports competitions, student springs, national evening parties and festivals.
Scholarships and grants. While studying, students take part in the competitions to get the Russian President and the Russian Government Scholarships, get academic scholarships, including increased ones for academic, research, social, cultural and creative and sports excellence. Foreign nationals applying to the Institute can apply for state-funded places within the Russian Government quota.

Employers and employment. The graduates of the Institute of Preventive Medicine are sought after by the authorities and organizations of Rospotrebnadzor (Russian Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing) as well as
medical organizations, research institutes and laboratories as physicians specializing in general hygiene, epidemiology, clinical laboratory diagnostics, bacteriology, virology, and in other professions.
