Programme presentation. Within this educationalprogramme, specialists-mathematicians are trained to possess professional competencies in the field of mathematical simulation of processes and systems for financial and insurance companies.
To train bachelor-degree students, four display classrooms have been set up. The students can attend a sports complex with a swimming pool, a clinic and diagnostics centre of the University.

Competitiveness of students. The students gain the required competencies and practical skills studying such subjects as: Insurance Mathematics, Mathematical Models of Insurance Risks, Mathematical Fundamentals of Financial Economics, Methods of Numerical Analysis, Investments and Securities Portfolio, Imitation and Statistical Simulation, etc.
Sound theoretical and practical knowledge allow the students to take part in profes-sional competitions e.g. All-Russia Student’s Olympiad ’Securities Market’, International Internet-Olympiad ’Finolymp’, etc.
Interaction with employers. To train students, contracts with Kaliningrad branches of insurance companies Ingostrakh, Soglasiye, Rosgosstrakh, with banks BFG-credit, Sberbank of Russia, trading companies Miratorg, Yurinat, etc. have been concluded.
