Programme presentation. Professional activity of the Programme’s bachelors includes work with mathematical and algorithmic models, programmes, programme systems and complexes, methods of their design and implementation, methods of production, support, use and administration in different areas.
The Department cooperates with Penza Regional Centre of E-Learning. The Department developed a great number of electronic study courses, created a system of computer-based testing of knowledge, which is used in the study process of the University and other HEIs. The Department developed an electronic laboratory practice course.
The Department is equipped with 21 computers, printers, scanners, and copying ma-chines. Lecturers use multimedia presentations. Computer-based testing is employed for knowledge assessment.

Teaching staff. The qualification of every teacher of the Department complies with the profile of training. 72% of the teachers have scientific degrees and titles, 38% – Doctors of Sciences, Professors. During the last five years, the Department’s teachers have published 15 methodological and instruction manuals.
