Programme presentation. The Master’s programmes in “Economics” aim at training competitive specialists, analytics-researchers for enterprises and organizations of any form of ownership and management bodies. The study process is carried out in several specializations: “Regional Economics” aims at regional development planning and functioning organization of separate spheres of economy, improvement of its sustainable development; “Financial Economics” is focused on methods of financial analysis and planning, management of financial risks in the sphere of financial institutions and corporations; “Real Estate Economics” is oriented towards training of specialists in the sphere of estate public administration and business structures; “Economic Theory and Finance and Lending Relations” is distinguished by its institutional approach to the study of economic processes of the region.

The Faculty arranges annual international conference for students, postgraduate students and young researchers– “Youth and Science: Reality and Future”. Every two years collections of research papers of teachers and young researchers are published in the framework of the scientific school “Institutional Regional Studies”. “The Bulletin of the
Interaction with employers. The Faculty concluded cooperation agreements with several management bodies of the federal, regional and municipal levels, large banks and enterprises of different sectors. According to these agreements, the Master’s students have work experience and then employment in these organizations.
Competitiveness of students. A combination of solid theoretical education and practical skills acquired in the course of active participation of representatives of the real sector of economy in the educational process gives students real advantages in employment. The Master’s students have opportunities to continue education in foreign HEIs.
