Programme presentation. Integration of education and research is one of the key is-sues for the University of Management “TISBI”. This is also a priority issue for the “Economic Security” programme. In the course of their studies, students master skills and competencies in organizational, economic, analytical and managerial aspects of economic security. They research into economics and law issues, gain knowledge and skills of identifying and eliminating reasons and conditions, which are conducive to the emergence of economic security hazards; learn to work with legal documents in the field of economics and economic safety, and obtain skills of applying substantive and procedural law.

The study programme features all the necessary information and methodology re-sources. Every discipline has e-learning component including text and test materials. The programme is aimed at students’ priority interests and presupposes continuous education and development.

Teaching staff. The process of education is based on highly qualified work of the teaching staff. All the teachers and professors, delivering classes are qualified in their subject area. They also have significant research results and work experience in the field. Out of 42ˇteachers, 14 have degrees of Doctors of Sciences and 24 – Candidates of Sciences.

Competitiveness of students. Professionally tailored internships and on-the-job-placements provide students with skills and set competencies in their 3rd, 4th years of studies, which facilitates their adaptation period and increases the chances of fast career development.

Interaction with employers. Our University cooperates with the Ministries and leading enterprises of Tatarstan, i.e. Ministry of Economics, Ministry of Finances, National Bank of Tatarstan, JSC AIKB “Tatfondbank”, JSC “Sberbank of Russia”, JSC “Ak Bars”, AKB “Spurt”, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tatarstan and many others.

Regular round table discussions, conferences and monitoring held by the monitoring laboratory make it possible to analyse graduates’ skills and competencies and develop them taking into consideration the employers’ opinion.
