HEI’s image. The North-CaucasusFederalUniversity is a HEI which has the most extensive experience of Masters’ training in the North-Caucasus Federal District and which passed state and public accreditation in 2014. The graduates are demanded professionals at the labour market of both the Stavropol Region and other regions of Russia.

Programme presentation. The main goal of the programme is training of qualified specialists who have a set of general cultural and professional competencies. The programme complies with the Federal Standards and is oriented to the recommendations of the Educational Methodological Association for education in the sphere of management. Recommendations and developments of foreign partners, obtained during the teachers’ internships in Germany, Hong Kong, Spain and Ireland, are used in the training process.

The educational process is conducted using IT and special software. Application of entrepreneurial ideas in the content of courses is implemented through the development of cases and practical tasks, formed on the basis of course and graduate qualification works of managers of different levels, trained in the Presidential Managerial Human Resources Programme. Programmes of students exchange and networking are available.

Teaching staff. Research and teaching staff which delivers the educational process is highly qualified and has the degrees of Doctors and Candidates of Sciences. Teachers take an active part in Russian and international conferences and foreign internships. High level of the teaching staff is evidenced by certificates, awards and diplomas.

Competitiveness of students. Bachelors in “International Management” receive advanced training in English which allows to communicate with foreign partners on a professional level. Upon completion of training they are given the “European Diploma Supplement”. Some graduates enter Master’s and postgraduate programmes, carrying out the traditions and developing the achievements of their teachers.

Interaction with employers. The educational programme is approved and reviewed by regional employers. The programme’s development involved the heads of the major enterprises. In cooperation with its partners the University annually holds events of Russianˇ and international level: conferences, forums, master-classes and roundtable discussions.
