Awards and achievements of the educational program. In 2013 the program underwent international external evaluation according to the standards and criteria established by the National Centre for Public Accreditation and compatible to the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area ESG-ENQA. In 2016 it was recognized as the best program within of the project Best Educational Programs of Innovative Russia.

PHARMACY, PREVENTIVE MEDICINE, DENTISTRY, PEDIATRICS  

Teaching staff. The teachers are members of international associations, editorial boards of medical journals, problematic academic and methodological commissions of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Russian Federation, participants of international scientific programs. The faculty teachers give consultations and treat patients, organize research conferences, participate in international and Russian conferences.

University partners within the educational program. Students undertake their internship at the premises of medical organizations within the boundaries of the Republic of Bashkortostan (109 facilities) and Russia (40 facilities). The clinical sites of the faculty are used by major multidisciplinary medical institutions: the university clinic, the RepublicanClinicalHospital named after G.G. Kuvatov, the Republican Oncologic Dispensary, the Republican Dermatovenerologic Dispensary, city clinical hospitals and outpatient clinics, etc.

Alumni’s achievements. The outstanding alumni include V.M. Timerbulatov, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences, a holder of the title of Honored Worker of Science of the Russian Federation; Sh.H. Gantsev, Corresponding Member of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Bashkortostan, a holder of the title of Honored Worker of Science of the Russian Federation, a member of the Public Chamber of Russia; V.N. Pavlov, Rector of Bashkir State Medical University, a holder of the title of Honored Worker of Science of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

Facilities and resources. Theoretical disciplines are taught in four academic and laboratory buildings. Students have access to the electronic library system. There is a simulation center for drilling practical skills.

Students take an active part in non-commercial associations, the youth scientific society, sports and creative clubs. The university has officially registered the center for training volunteers for various important events in the Russian Federation according to the Medicine lot.

Opportunities for students. Students do research, present their reports at scientific conferences. They undertake study placement at KaragandaStateMedicalUniversity (Kazakhstan), HarbinMedicalUniversity, Nanchang, Sichuan, Jilin universities (China), at the Mannheim Faculty of Medicine of the University of Heidelberg, at the Carl Gustav Carus Faculty of Medicine of Dresden University of Technology (Germany). The faculty implements regular student exchange programs with medical universities of Germany and the CIS countries.

Employment prospects. General practitioner. Graduates have an opportunity to pursue their clinical residency in 49 majors and postgraduate study.
