Achievements and awards. The program underwent international external expert evaluation according to the standards and criteria established by the National Centre for Public Accreditation and consistent with the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area ESG-ENQA. The university took part in the independent and objective evaluation of students' knowledge. The evaluation was performed in the following disciplines: hominal physiology, general surgery, propaedeutics of internal diseases, X-ray diagnostics.

Teaching staff. The teachers are members of international associations, participants of international scientific programs, members of editorial boards of medical journals, specialized dissertation councils, problematic academic and methodological commissions of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Russian Federation and various Russian and international associations. Many of them combine teaching and patient treatment and counseling, being chief external experts of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Russian Federation.

Facilities and resources. The departments of the faculty are located at the premises of the university clinic and the major multidisciplinary medical institutions of Ufa.

Research. The faculty is famous for its innovative approach in the field of interdisciplinary research, participation in the development of medicine issues. It established the research institutes of oncology, cardiology, new medical technologies, rehabilitation medicine and health resort study. The most important scientific achievements are effectively introduced into practical healthcare thanks to the university clinic with various medical centers that deliver specialized high-technology medical care to the public.

Education. Students use active and interactive forms of classes (computer simulations, business games and role plays, clinical case studies).  They have access to the electronic library system. The university has a simulation center for acquisition of practical skills. Since 2016 graduates have been undergoing primary accreditation.

Strategic partners. The university cooperates with the universities: I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University, Moscow State University of Medicine and Dentistry named after A.I. Evdokimov, Samara State Medical University, Saratov State Medical University, Kazakh National Medical University named after S.D. Asfendiyarov, Karaganda Medical University (Kazakhstan), Harbin Medical University, Sichuan University, Nanchang University (China), the medical faculties: the University of Regensburg, the Mannheim Faculty of Medicine of the University of Heidelberg, the Carl Gustav Carus Faculty of Medicine of Dresden University of Technology (Germany). The faculty implements regular student exchange programs with medical partner universities as well as with universities of Germany and the CIS countries.

International projects and programs. The teachers conduct classes in principal subjects and organize master classes at KazakhNationalMedicalUniversity named after S.D. Asfendiyarov. They organize master classes with the participation of foreign colleagues from the universities of Sichuan, Utrecht, Regensburg, Washington.

Assistance and support for foreign students and teachers. The faculty enrolls over 1,100 citizens of the CIS countries and other foreign countries.
