Awards and achievements. The educational program successfully underwent professional-public accreditation carried out by the Medical League of Russia, which is confirmed by Certificate № 019/17 of January 10, 2017.

Teaching staff. The educational process is implemented at 26 departments covering 50 disciplines, five educational internships and six work placements. Students are trained by 75 teachers including 58 Candidates and Doctors of Sciences (77%) and eight employees from among heads and employees of organizations whose activities are related to the Bachelor's program being taught (over 10%).

Facilities and resources. The facilities and resources of the university include seven academic buildings, three dormitories, the sports and fitness center with a swimming pool, large and small gyms, the skiing center, the sports and fitness camp "Medical Worker." The university has an event hall and a student club for mass cultural events and leisure activities. There is also a research library. Students undertake their work placement at clinical facilities of the university having specialized departments as well as at medical treatment and preventive care institutions of Saratov which are facilities of clinical departments of the university. The university has its own refectories and snack bars that provide catering for students and teachers.

Research. Research is conducted in the following areas: improvement of nursing care specialists’ activity as one of development areas of healthcare of the Russian Federation; health-saving practices of mid-level health providers in high-risk wards.

Education. The teachers use elements of distant educational technologies, the educational portal, case technologies.

Strategic partners. The university partners within the educational process are Samara State Medical University of the Ministry of Healthcare of the  Russian Federation; First Moscow State Medical University named after I.M. Sechenov of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Russian Federation.

Competitive advantages. The program complies with the international training standard for mid-level health providers. The staff has an opportunity to carry out teaching and research activities.
