Achievements and awards. The university took part in the independent and objective evaluation of students' knowledge. The evaluation of the Pediatrics major was performed in pathophysiology.

Teaching staff. The faculty consists of 16 departments that employ one Academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Bashkortostan, 37 Professors, 30 Associate Professors, over 70 Candidates of Medical Sciences. The teachers are members of international associations, participants of international scientific programs, members of editorial boards of medical journals, members of problematic academic and methodological commissions of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Russian Federation and various Russian and international associations. Many of them combine teaching with practical activities.

Facilities and resources. The departments of the faculty are located at the premises of the university clinic and the largest multidisciplinary medical institutions of Ufa.

Research. The faculty actively carries out research activities in the following areas: pediatrics, neonatology, pediatric surgery, rheumatology, endocrinology. Students are also actively involved in research activities.

Education. Students use active and interactive forms of classes (computer simulations, business games and role plays, clinical case studies). They have access to the electronic library system. The university has a simulation center for acquisition and consolidation of practical skills.

Strategic partners. The university cooperates with HarbinMedicalUniversity, Nanchang University, Sichuan University, JilinUniversity (China), the Mannheim Faculty of Medicine of the University of Heidelberg, the Carl Gustav Carus Faculty of Medicine of Dresden University of Technology (Germany). Multidisciplinary pediatric clinics and outpatient clinics of Ufa are the facilities of five specialized departments.

International projects and programs. The faculty implements regular student exchange programs with the largest medical universities of China, Germany and Kazakhstan. It organizes master classes with the participation of foreign colleagues from universities of Sichuan, Utrecht, Regensburg, Washington. In their turn, foreign students undertake their study placement at BashkirStateMedicalUniversity.

Educational internship and work placement at clinics is the most important link in training of highly qualified pediatricians and in consolidating practical knowledge and skills in the future workplace environment. Training is provided at the premises of large medical institutions of Ufa with state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic equipment.

Assistance and support for foreign students and teachers . The faculty enrolls citizens of the CIS countries and other foreign countries (Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Somalia, Zambia, etc.), who not only get medical education but also take an active part in the university social life.
