Current position in rankings. The university was ranked 6th among Russian universities in 2016.

Achievements and awards. The Quality Management System Certificate of Conformity issued by the Russian Register Certification Association, the professional-public accreditation certificate issued by the Medical League of Russia, the positive expert opinion of the chief free-lance dentist of the Department of Healthcare of the Voronezh Region, the President of the regional non-governmental organization "Dental Association."

Teaching staff. The educational program is delivered by 42 departments including five specialized departments; 245 teachers out of 311 have academic degrees or titles including 59 Doctors of Sciences, holders of the award of the Government of the Russian Federation, Honored Workers of Higher Education and Honored Doctors of the Russian Federation.

Facilities and resources. The university has its own dental clinic, the dental class in the virtual learning hospital of VSMU including 3D dental simulators as well as laboratories, medical classrooms, phantom and computer classrooms, classrooms with state-of-the-art equipment.

Education. Over 130 dentists graduate from the faculty every year, at least 6% of them graduate with honors. Students win interregional and all-Russian subject competitions, deliver lectures at the leading training centers of Russian and foreign manufacturing companies in the field of dentistry. In February 2017, the fifth-year student took the first place in the Seventh All-Russian Student Dentistry Olympiad with international participation (Moscow).

Strategic partners. The university cooperates with Moscow State University of Medicine and Dentistry named after A.I. Evdokimov, SaratovStateMedicalUniversity named after V.I. Razumovskii, RUDNUniversity (Moscow), VolgogradStateMedicalUniversity, BelgorodStateUniversity, VoronezhStateUniversity, etc. The faculty is fully engaged in the work of the Dentistry Research and Education Medical Cluster as an equal partner and representative of the East-European division of the Central Federal District.

Competitive advantages. The employability rate is 100%. Graduates get employed at the biggest dental clinics of Voronezh and the Voronezh Region, the Central Black Earth Region as well as Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Krasnodar, Rostov, and other cities. Students undertake their internship with further employment opportunities at the leading state-owned and commercial dental clinics of Voronezh and the Central Black Earth Region. Big commercial clinics may cover students’ tuition fees in exchange of further employment. The leading Russian and foreign specialists deliver subject-related lectures. The university annually holds the Job Fair.
