Teaching staff. The principal educational program is delivered by 39 departments. One hundred and ninety-five teachers out of 246 have academic degrees or titles. Fifty teachers are Doctors of Sciences including a laureate of the award of the Government of the Russian Federation, Honored Workers of Science of the Russian Federation.

Facilities and resources. For effective educational activities at all levels of professional and supplementary professional education, the faculty has a sufficient number of facilities and resources, teaching and learning materials, a necessary licensed software suite, and electronic library systems. The library is fully stocked with printed publications. The clinical facilities located at 32 medical institutions of Voronezh are also at the faculty's disposal.

Research. The university conducts multidisciplinary and comprehensive research. Students are members of the student scientific society, participate in student olympiads, in interuniversity scientific and practical conferences for students, postgraduate students and young scientists, in interregional scientific and practical conferences. Following the results of 2013-2017, seven students were included in the reference book "Golden Book of the Voronezh Region: the Best Students of 2017."

Education. Teaching methods are activated using multimedia technologies, business games, audio- and video recordings, video filming with subsequent demonstration and analytical review.

Strategic partners. The university cooperates with the Faculty of Preventive Medicine of Ryazan State Medical University named after academician I.P. Pavlov and YaroslavlStateMedicalUniversity.

Competitive advantages. Students undertake work placement at the medical treatment and preventive care institutions that are part of the university's clinical facilities, but the main facility is the Territorial Directorate of the Russian Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing and the Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology in the Voronezh Region.
