Awards and achievements. The educational program underwent international professional-public accreditation carried out by the National Centre for Public Accreditation. The program was accredited for 2017-2023.

Teaching staff. The degree-granting department employs four Doctors of Sciences and 20 Candidates of Sciences. The representatives of employers including leading enterprises, medical and scientific organizations are also engaged in the teaching process.

Facilities and resources. The university has the following state-of-the-art devices: an automatic biochemical analyzer, a platelet aggregation analyzer, a hemocoagulometer, a spectrophotometer, MEKOS-TS3 hardware and software package, an automatic hematology analyzer, NanoEducator measuring device, a laser diffractometer for fast detection of red blood cell deformability, Ntegra Prima scanning probe microscope, and other equipment.

Research. NCFU established the scientific school "Neuroendocrine Adaptation Mechanisms." The university conducts research in the following promising areas: clinical laboratory diagnostics, laboratory hemocytology, the use of laboratory diagnostics methods in evaluation of the person's adaptive capabilities under the influence of various factors, etc.

Education. The teachers use state-of-the-art information and communication technologies, problem-based and split-level learning.

Strategic partners. The university cooperates with BelarusianStateUniversity, PenzaStateUniversity, the Stavropol Territorial Clinical Oncology Dispensary, the Stavropol Territorial Clinical Cardiology Dispensary, the Regional Office of Forensic Medical Examination, the StavropolRegional Center for the Prevention and Control of AIDS and Infectious Diseases.
