Current position in rankings.TverStateMedicalUniversity was ranked 5th among medical universities of the Russian Federation according to the Ranking of Demand for Higher Educational Institutions in the Russian Federation-2017 and 96th among over 600 HEIs according to the Forbes ranking of Russian educational institutions.

Achievements and awards. This program was ranked among the Best Educational Programs of Innovative Russia in 2017. Students regularly participate in and win all-Russian olympiads, contests and conferences such as "Medical Spring," "Golden Talents of Medicine."

Teaching staff. At least 70% of the academic staff have education relevant to the discipline being taught. The academic degree holders rate is at least 50%.

Facilities and resources. The faculty has necessary facilities for all kinds of disciplinary and interdisciplinary training, laboratory-based, practical and research work of students.

Research. The faculty studies the influence of chemical and pharmaceutical factors on pharmacokinetic parameters of pharmacological agents.

Education. The teaching methods used in the educational process develop students' teamwork, interpersonal communication, decision making and leadership skills.

Strategic partners. The university cooperates with the local healthcare authorities of a number of regions of the Russian Federation, leading research and educational organizations of the Russian Federation, medical and preventive treatment facilities of Tver. It also maintains collaborative relationships with the medical faculties of SaarlandUniversity in Germany and the University of Parma in Italy.

International projects and programs. The university participates in the Erasmus project of the European Union which is the inter-university cooperation program.
